These technicians are trained to work on problems involving the efficient use of personnel, materials, and machines in the production of goods and services. Most of successful students at the college easily earn jobs in the Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust. Other graduates get employed outside, yet others employ themselves.

“Our jobs are more practically oriented than those of scientists and engineers. We teach the basic work,” observes Rodrick Khauya, the Electrical Installation lecturer at the College.

Among other subjects, the technicians learn principles of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve problems in quality control, maintenance, manufacturing and construction.
