15 October is Mothers Day in Malawi. Following what Fr. Mario Pacifici and all people of Nankhombe house had done the previous day, giving gifts to the ‘agogo’ during the Eucharistic celebration the previous day, Young Christian Students (YCS) went around the villages doing the same.
