Carissimi tutti,
amici del Malawi e amici miei un bel saluto dal caldo cuore dell'Africa.

Con gioia voglio farvi sapere che anche quest'anno l' ALLELUYA BAND verrà in Italia.

In giugno io devo venire per un controllo all'ospedale dopo la mia operazione
e con me verranno i giovani e le regazze dell'Alleluya Band per un nuovo tour 2009.

Abbiamo avuto vari inviti e l'Alleluya Band è già all'opera
per donare un nuovo spettacolo di danze e canzoni tradizionali delle tribù del Malawi raccolti sotto il titolo

"WAWA MALAWI"

Dopo l'indimenticabile esperienza della giornata mondiale della gioventù in Australia, luglio 2008,
il nuovo tour inizierà il giorno 8 di giugno e termirà il 30 di luglio.
Tanti giorni sono già impengati, ma abbiamo ancora qualche giorno disponibile,
se siete interessati fatemelo sapere e se sarà possibile programmeremo insieme.
La novità di quest'anno è una mostra che l'Associazione Pan'gonoPan'gono sta preparando in collaborazione con Giovanni e Laura
hanno trascorso un mese in Malawi per documentare gioie, dolori, paure e speranze della nostra gente
visti e sentiti in particolare con gli occhi e le orecchie dei giovani e ragazze dell'Alleluya Band.
La mostra dove possibile accompagnerà il tour dell'Alleuya Band.
Il nuovo tour 2009 non è un impegno facile, ma possibile grazie alla collaborazione di tanti di voi
nell' affrontare tutti gli impegni di una organizzazione così complessa.

Ancora una volta insieme vogliamo cantare la vita con gioia.

2009 Euro Tour preparation underway

Having toured in Rome-Italy, mesmerizing it with the sensational cultural music in 2008 under the title MOYO Malawi LIVE, and with fresh memories of their wonderful performance at the World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia, Alleluya Band have started their preparations to this year's tour which has been rendered the title "WAWA MALAWI".

"Wawa" is a Ngoni greeting which is mainly a sign of respect to the elderly people. Wawa is said one is passing through very respectable people in the society to show total respect. Sometimes and very often, wawa is said when one arrives at a house to seek attention of those present at that house.

To Alleluya Band, wawa title has been chosen for this trip as in respect to the various italian communities, volunteers and individuals who have been on the whelm of assisting the African society more especially here in Balaka and Andiamo Trust. Your assistance be it in materials and help has been of great importance and relief to us and hence you deserve this vote Wawa!

"We know that we cannot give you back what you have been doing to us hence the only thing we can do we will do it and that is to sing right there at your doorstep" - says Coss Chiwalo the Band Leader - "We have started preparations and they are going on well at the pace we are all happy with. We will bring other different antics as with the experience gotten from various artists at the WYD08 and we will deliver them to you in the best ever Malawian Cultural Style that you have never seen before".

Alleluya Band is expected to start off for the trip on May 2009 to July 2009. Please check on the calendar of the trip that will be online soon to see when Alleluya Band will performe in your village or area.
