In the quest to recognize tremendous development initiatives by various friends from Italy, Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust presented certificates to Mr. Perbellini and Mr Sergio in recognition of their glowing projects such as the Comfort Vision and Ice Cream plant respectively. The certificates were presented by Mr. Andrew Galeta, the executive director of Andiamo amidst a group of onlookers who came for a farewell dinner for the duo at Nankhombe house of volunteers. Since its establishment more than fifteen years ago, Comfort Vision has helped restoring sight to a lot of people in the Balaka region as well as in Malawi. Currently, the Optical Department of the Comfort Clinics has two well trained opticians Ms. Anna Njoloma and Mr. Louis Likupe. The duo did their studies in Italy under the auspices of Mr. Perbellini. Meanwhile, the ice cream plant has provided quality ice cream to many people in Balaka. The plant is situated right in Andiamo main premises next to cobbler shop and in the same vicinity as a barber shop and a hair dressing salon. Web
