There was jubilation at Andiamo main campus on Friday everning of 10th October 2008 as new truck for the Cooperative was arriving at the campus for the first time. Upon seeing the transport problems that Andiamo Cooperative was encountering, Pang’onopang’ono Association could not only sympathize with them but rather to take a step ahead. In such a circumstance, the Association has given a hand by providing a Truck (vehicle) to the Cooperative to solve some of the transport problems. The Truck has been provided due to the problems faced whenever the Cooperative has containers to be transported. But also to enhance self reliance in the Cooperative since it will also be generating funds in some cases. The presence of the Truck has also created job opportunity in the Cooperative since some people have to be employed (a Driver and two assistants). The Cooperative appreciated the love that Pang’onopang’ono Association have for them and they should be ready to accept challenges from the Cooperative.
