Tiyende School: Closing Function

Tiyende is the school that is based on empowering women with knowledge and skills on how to be independent and to withstand in the community and country as a whole.

The Tiyende School which is part and passel of Andiamo Education Institutions will have a graduation ceremony on this coming Friday of 5th August, 2008 at Tiyende premises. Meanwhile there are 18 students who have undergone a 6 months course in Home Economics Management. The function is expected to start at 9:00 am.

Speaking to the Tiyende Principal, Mrs. Useni, she said that the students that are being trained at their Institution they do well in the society and they become more successful. “This is because if they are not employed they become prosperous business material because of the basic knowledge we inpart them here”, she added.

The school is expected to start another semester with students sponsored by World Vision International from 22nd September, 2008.
