JOHN PAUL II NURSERY OFFICIALLY OPENED

In a style worthy mentioning, Mpulula nursery's new complex has been opened. Present on the occasion were Government officials, party officials, chiefs and Andiamo members.

The ribbon was cut by the owners of the school, the kids, and they were the 1st to go into the building straight to the classes while the guest of honor who is the DPP Regional Governor of Eastern Region and also a special trustee of the Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust followed to meet the kids in their Classes.

The kids did some activities to show the Guests what they are capable of doing including drama, Bible verses and many more. The most fascinating thing was that the kids were doing the activities in clear English.

Speaking on the event, Padre Mario thanked all those who came to witness the function more especially Government officials and chiefs because the activity has been done for the people. He said its time parties stop fighting but concentrate on development more especially on young people and children.

The Guest of owner was very happy for the development and promised to take it not for granted but to assist through the Malawi Government to do some funding on developments such as this one.

The Executive Director asked the people around to take well good care of the campus as it is assisting them more in training their children, Grand children and orphans.

Mai Anna Capelli (Italian) did the funding of project in memory of her parents Alessandra Pedruzi and Mario Capelli.
She thanked everybody who took part in the building of the campus more especially late ANDREA PACICI, Padre Cesare and the whole Andiamo clue.
“If we don’t train kids at their earliest age, there will be problems in future. Education is a pathway to a brighter future. Let parents and guardians send their kids here”. That was how mai Anna ended her speech.

A tree was planted just opposite the main door of the new complex to mark the beginning of new life.

The after noon was for Alleluya Band to spice it and in between, certificates to those who are to start standard 1 in 2008 were issued together with gifts. The function proceeded till evening with Alleluya Band performance.
