Sunday, 20th May marked a bad day for students and staff of Andiamo Campus when a high voltage electrical current hit it. Even though all the appliances were switched off, the current went through and burnt them.

Some of them include; 5 computers and 2 monitors at the Tech Pole, 4 computers at the Comfort Martenity, 1 wireless antenna at the Nankhombe House of the volunteers and 1 wireless access point at the Pole.

This has grown the problem of computers at the Pole.The Pole which trains students in computer technology rely on computers for the smooth running of the course.This means that it will face tough time in coping up with the students.

Escom has not yet given a report as we went to press. it seems the transforma that Andiamo uses is full to capacity but still alot of connection are being tapped from it.
