THE VOLUNTEER HOUSE HAS
GOT A NAME: Nankhombe House

Today
the Executive Committee of Andiamo decided the name of the volunteer
house: "Nankhombe House" (Conchiglia).
Nankhombe is a name deprived from Nkhombe (the name given to Snail
Shells that are remotely used for eating porridge in rural areas)
and the NA is added to make it sounds better. Here in Balaka - Andiamo,
this name is for the river. This name was given due to the fact
that there were a lot of snail shells in it by providing nkhombe
to the community.
