ELDERLY PROJECT ACCOMPLISHED

On 6th August 2008, the conclusion was reached when the two houses where presented to the elderly. This is a project which was established to help the elders who are suffering in terms of shelter.

The houses have been constructed behind Andiamo Campus premises. The houses will boost the living standards of the people involved. Fr. Mario presented the houses as his honour for them.The houses where built for them hence when one doesn’t have a home, s/he leads a nomadic life which is a thing of old age. Hence, these are people who need to be respected,honoured and be proud for them in our society.

The houses have been constructed by the Andiamotrust. This has been done to show that elder people should not be despised in the community but they should be given care and support.
