On 3rd January,2009 it marked the day when Andiamo Executive Team had to wine and dine upon entering a new year and to welcome back Alleluya Band from its Christmas and New year tour in the Northern and Central Regions. It all get started in the afternoon whereby Executive Team, Alleluya Band members and some Cooperative members gathered in the maltpurpose hall of Technical School to have lunch. It was the pleasure of Andiamo Trust Director; Mr. Andrew Galeta to review the reason of the gathering. In his introductory remarks, he said that the gathering was in form of thanks giving. This was the case since the whole of Christmas and New Year festives Alleluya Band was away to intertain people as they were celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ and new year. He also thanked Andiamo's Founding Trustee; Padre Mario Pacifici although he is away (Italy) for his different developmental projects in Balaka and Malawi as a whole. In his speech, Padre Paulo Pacifici said that everybody has a responsibility in the Cooperative and one should take courage to make use of the gift that was given to him/her by God. He further said that members should have a hard working spirit hence success does not come without any effort. The celebration continued at Hippo View Lodge in Liwonde whereby Alleluya Band was there to mezimerise the funs. Web Office
